The Preparation
Four years ago, Callum and I started dreaming about seeing penguins, lots of penguins. After seeing little blue penguins in New Zealand and African blackfooted penguins in Monterey Bay Aquarium we set our eyes on Antarctica. Needed to save up a bit, but January 6, 2011, we are on our way!

ReplyDeleteWednesday is our big shopping day. Callum has conceded to wearing long pants in Antarctica, so we'd better get some warm leggings. We got camera ready and extra flashcards. And seasick pills....
Just curious, what kind of temperatures, humidity and wind velocity are you preparing for? Pauline
ReplyDeleteTemperatures between -10 and 0 Celsius, humidity very low (we hope), wind velocity of 0 through 150 mph, and wave height from 0-30 ft :-)
