Finally we landed in Santiago, Chile. Amazing flight along the Andes after a very choppy track across the Gulf of Mexico and central America. We are in a grand hotel that has a huge garden and elevators that are 100 meters high and luxury furniture. We are going to do a tour soon on a bus around Santiago that will show us some of the palace of Chile's president and a museum of the history of Chile.
It is really fun to be here in Chile!! I hope we can come back after the trip to Antarctica and stay a little longer.
